Born in Paris in 1975, Aymeric Zunquin is a multidisciplinary artist whose work seamlessly blends fine art with the timeless traditions of decorative craftsmanship.
His artistic journey began in 1992 under the mentorship of Gilbert Diebold (Grand Prix de Rome, 1960), later refining his skills at the Ateliers Beaux-Arts de Paris.
Immersed in both classical and contemporary techniques, he studied under masters such as Gérard Di-Maccio, honing an approach that merges academic precision with expressive artistry.
Specializing in decorative painting, Aymeric Zunquin trained at one of Paris’s most prestigious institutions in the field.
By 1995, he was invited to return as an instructor, leading masterclasses for professionals in techniques such as trompe-l'œil wood and marble, painted skies, gold leaf gilding, color theory, and ornamental design.
For over 30 years, he has been sought after for prestigious architectural, interior design, and event scenography projects across Paris, Cannes, Monaco, Geneva, Brussels, New York, Miami, and Palm Beach.
His work, deeply rooted in tradition yet driven by modern creative exploration, transforms spaces into immersive artistic experiences.
"I see emotions as the invisible energy that connects us to the cosmos. My work is about making that energy visible."
I work from a 300m² studio located in Cannes, on the French Riviera.
Several of my works are permanently on display in Palm Beach, Florida, within the floating showroom of Nautilus 220.
